Pass the salt and lime, hold the tequila
Salt and lime are one combo that can never go wrong! Adding these to your homemade tortilla chips makes it so right.
4 corn tortillas
Half a lime
Pizza pan with holes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cut tortillas into fours
Spread tortillas onto the pizza pan
Brush tortillas with olive oil
Squeeze half a lime over tortillas
Sprinkle with sea salt
Bake for 10 minutes
Rotate the pan if any of the chips start to brown
Rotating the pan helps to cook the chips evenly - I usually rotate with 2 to 5 minutes left!
Top with cilantro (optional)
Side note: you can adjust the amount of salt and lime depending on personal preference! Don't ever be scared to change up a recipe! Also, I like to let my tortilla chips sit for a few minutes while they cool off. Once they are cooled they are super crunchy!
