Not your momma's baked beans
These baked beans are a family recipe with my added twists...perfect side item for your summer cookouts!
2 cans of Van Camp's pork and beans
1/3 cup of ketchup
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1/4 cup of chopped onion
2 slices of bacon
1 tbsp of worcheshire sauce
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
In a 9x9 square dish add all ingredients except the bacon
Once mixed together place two strips of bacon on top
Bake for 50 minutes
Side note: these were my Grammy's baked beans. Growing up I always looked forward to eating them on holidays. I now have taken her recipe and added my own twist. These baked beans are so easy to make and always delicious!
