Sea Salt!

Sea salt is one of my favorites! I love adding sea salt to my veggies, dressings and sauces, and different types of meat! Sea salt makes any dish feel lavish!


Garlic Powder!

You will see garlic mentioned several times throughout this blog and that's because I love garlic! Garlic powder can be used in any range of cultural dishes!

Dill Weed!

Dill weed may be a spice some don't always think about, but I love it! Dill is great for giving you that "ranch style" flavor! Dill is not overpowering and it adds the perfect amount of flavor! 



I have really become a huge fan of chives! I use them on my potatoes whether they are roasted, baked, or mashed! They also compliment any buffalo styled dish! Lastly, they always add a little flare to the top of a completed dish!


Chili Powder!

Chili powder is always in my pantry! I use it in so many of my soup recipes, taco seasoning, and for adding a kick of flavor to my dish!


Cumin Powder!

Whenever I am cooking a Mexican dish I always add an extra pinch of cumin. I love the rich flavor of cumin! If any of my Spanish inspired dishes are bland, cumin will fix the problem!


I will always pay extra for some avocados! Avocados are a must for our family! From homemade guacamole to avocado spread on a breakfast sandwich, we make sure to never run out! 



Bananas are awesome! You can do so much with them. I love using bananas in my smoothies, pancakes, and even ice cream! Pretty awesome, right? 



Some either love cilantro or they don't, but I am one who loves it! Cilantro brings so much flavor to any dish. I keep cilantro handy for salsa, soups, and for my guacamole!

Green Onions!

I recently added green onions to my routine grocery list. They add just enough flavor without overpowering the dish. They also add as pretty garnish for your finished dish!

Lemon and Limes!

I always have some spare lemons and limes hanging around. Lemons are perfect compliment to fish and chicken dishes! Limes go great in soups, guacamole, and in margaritas! 


Garlic Cloves!

Bell Peppers!

Bell peppers can be used in the dish or as part of your presentation! Bell peppers are so versatile. They can be used in Asian dishes, breakfast dishes, Spanish dishes - the list goes on!

Red Onions!

Every time I make a run to the grocery store I grab a red onion. They are cheap and add lots of flavor! They are a staple for in so many recipes.

Zucchini and Squash!

I always have some zucchini and squash stashed away in my fridge! I love substituting zucchini for pasta! Also, another favorite is roasted zucchini and squash topped with parmesan!

Spaghetti Squash!

Spaghetti squash is such a great low-carb dish! I love using it instead pasta when it comes to spaghetti and meatballs! 


Tapatio Hot Sauce!

I love having this hot sauce! It is so easy to add so much flavor to any dish with a couple splashes of this hot sauce! We like to add it to our soups, tacos, nachos, and so much more! 


Cotija Cheese!

I am a huge fan of this hispanic-style cheese! I love this shredded cheese on top of tacos, salads, and grilled corn!

Coconut Oil!

Coconut oil for me is a win, win ingredient because you can do so much with it when you cook and it has so many health benefits! Coconut oil is great for baking and sauteing. Also, adding this ingredigent to your recipe provides a smooth texture!

Olive Oil!

This one may seem silly to mention, but extra virgin olive oil is so functional. I always have an extra jug laying around. It makes cooking potatoes, creating dressings, and sauteing vegetables so easy!
